Network refresh & data-centre networking

Replace ageing equipment with a modern, documented network, moved across in waves you control.

The problem

Key switches are near end of support, and replacing them touches almost everything.

The data-centre network has been extended so often that each change feels risky.

What’s included

  • Lifecycle and capacity review
  • Target network and data-centre fabric design
  • Staging and pre-configuration
  • Migration plan in waves
  • Cutover support
  • Decommissioning checklist

Deliverables

  • Refresh design documents
  • Migration wave plan and runbooks
  • As-built diagrams
  • Decommissioning record

How it works

  1. Assess & understand

We review equipment lifecycle, capacity and the services that depend on it.

  2. Design & plan

We design the target network and group the migration into waves.

  3. Implement & configure

We stage the equipment, then move each wave in an agreed window.

  4. Test & handover

We confirm services after each wave and hand over accurate records.

Frequently asked questions

Can you refresh one site at a time?

Yes. Breaking the project into waves limits risk and lets you spread the work over time.

Do you handle physical installation?

We can coordinate it. Racking and cabling are usually done by your facilities team or a local contractor, working to our plan.

What happens to the old equipment?

We leave it in place until services are confirmed, then provide a decommissioning checklist, including removing stored configurations.
